Hayford Danso is the Chief Executive Officer of The Dada Foundation.
Hayford was the Head of NGOs and Developmental Organisation and an Associate Vice President (AVP), and the Acting Head of Corporate Banking at The Royal Bank Limited. Before his appointment, he worked as Manager of Public Sector Banking Department and Branch Manager of Tema Community 2 Branch of the Bank.
Hayford has worked with ADRA Ghana to assess and advance micro credit to SMEs and the very poor in some communities in Ghana. He is also a Board Member of Afro-Arab Microfinance Company Limited.
Hayford has over 14 years cumulative experience in Retail Banking, Corporate and Institutional Banking, Micro-Finance Banking and SME Banking. He has previously worked with Sahel Sahara Bank Limited, Energy Bank Limited, EB-Accion Limited ( Afilliate of Ecobank Ghana Limited), Ghana Education Service and Omega Strategic Resource Limited.
He holds an MSc in Development Finance from University of Ghana Business School, MBA in Operations Management from the Sikkim Manipal University, and a Bachelor of Education (Mathematics and Economics) from University of Cape Coast. He also holds teachers certificate “A” from Atebubu Training College.
Hayford is a trusted business advisor thoroughly knowledgeable in: Branch Management, Credit Structuring, Microfinance, Business Development, Customer Loyalty Management, Product development, Training and staff development and provision of financial solutions for clients based on their needs and risk exposures.
Hayford’s career objective is to become an Icon in the Public Sector space; a Development Finance Expert, specialized in developing Small to Medium scale enterprise through development assistances, rising of capital for growth of SMEs, debt portfolio management and business reengineering arrangements for SMEs and Social intervention programmes.
