David  Christian is the co-founder of  Dede  Investment  Ltd,  an investment company with a significant real estate development track record in Tanzania. David is also a co-founder of Haradali Capital Ltd a private investment fund that invests in the East African Capital Markets and Cornerstone Partners Ltd licensed fund management and financial advisory entity,  both operating in Tanzania.

 

His working career spans more than 30 years as a Junior Auditor in Assurance Services with Coopers and Lybrand Tanzania, as a Plant Engineer with IPP Ltd in Tanzania, as a Banker in Project Finance with CRDB Bank in Tanzania, as an Intern Researcher with the Agility Forum at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania USA, as a Researcher and Consultant with the Economic and Social Research Foundation   (ESRF)   in   Tanzania,  in   Management   Consulting and   Advisory Services as an Associate Director with KPMG Tanzania and for fifteen years as the General Manager and Executive Director of Inspection and Controls Services, in Tanzania and Ghana.

 

David is an accomplished and experienced  Business  Leader,  Entrepreneur and Company Director with a successful track record of working in the Management Consulting, Business to Government (B2G) Services, Real Estate Development, Fund  Management,  Project  Finance  and  SME  Financing  Industries.  David is skilled in Strategic Planning, Startup Project Management, Business Planning, Budgeting, Risk Management, Real Estate Development, and Entrepreneurship.

 

He is a  holder of an  MBA  in  Finance from  Lehigh  University in the  USA,  and  a B.Sc. (Honors) in Process and Chemical Engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam Tanzania. In addition, he is a Certified Project Manager (PRINCE2) and a Certified Risk Manager (MoR).

 

David is married with three children, his hobbies and interests include collecting modern  African  Art,  Jazz  Music,  Photography,  Gardening,  teaching financial literacy and mentoring young entrepreneurs.
