The generous donation is to support young girls in their journey to education and empowerment by ensuring they have the essentials they need. Speaking at the short presentation, Mr Jacob Fynn, acting Executive Director of Dada Foundation emphasized GWAMM’s ongoing dedication to supporting healthcare initiatives. These efforts include not only this donation but also the provision of clean water, mobile clinics, and scholarships for nursing students at WIUC.

Nimatu Asilgya expressed her gratitude for the kind gesture. She indicated that the sanitary pads will be directly distributed to young girls in northern Ghana to keep them in school during their time of the month. She highlighted that the distribution will also involve educational sessions on adolescent girl hygiene, a cause she has passionately championed through her foundation’s activities.
